Delivery areas

We deliver to standard residential and commercial addresses on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, and to Macau. The delivery options and fees shown at checkout apply.

Processing time

Orders generally begin processing within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Saturdays, Sundays and Hong Kong public holidays are not counted.

Processing may take longer during promotions, severe weather, holiday periods or times of high order volume.

Delivery time and fees

  • Standard delivery: approximately 5–10 business days after dispatch
  • Standard delivery fee: HK$59 (same for Hong Kong and Macau)
  • Single orders of 8 or more items: free standard delivery (Hong Kong and Macau addresses)

The times above are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery times may be affected by the courier, weather, traffic, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Receiving your order

Please provide a contact phone number so we can arrange delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, phone number and delivery address, and for ensuring someone is available to receive the order.

Additional fees may apply if redelivery is required because of:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address;
  • no one being available to receive the delivery;
  • an unreachable recipient;
  • refusal of delivery by the customer; or
  • a customer request to change an already arranged delivery address.

If a shipment is returned for reasons attributable to the customer, we may deduct the original delivery fee, return fee and redelivery fee before deciding whether to arrange another delivery. Food products are generally non-refundable.

Damaged packaging or products

If the packaging is badly damaged, leaking or the contents do not match your order, please photograph the outer carton, waybill and products, and email info@sardinemarket.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Severe weather

Delivery may be suspended or postponed while Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, a Black Rainstorm Warning, Extreme Conditions or any other situation affecting safety is in effect.
